This Privacy Policy explains how Peelepicks LLC (“Peelepicks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Wind Down: Sleep by Slumber mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect
A. Account Information

When you create or use an account, we may collect:

Name

Email address

Login and authentication details processed through Firebase Authentication

B. Sleep, Wellness, and App Data You Provide

We collect information you enter or generate in the App, including:

Sleep hours

Sleep quality ratings

Sleep goals

Daily sleep log entries

Streak data

Sleep summaries and insights

Quiz answers and results

Support form submissions, such as your name, email, topic, and message

Related dates, timestamps, and metadata associated with your entries

C. Connected Health Data

If you choose to connect a supported health platform, we may access health and wellness data you authorize us to read from:

Apple HealthKit

Android Health Connect

This may include sleep-related or wellness-related data made available through those services and authorized by you.

D. AI Feature Data

If you use our AI-powered features, we may use information such as your profile information, sleep data, goals, summaries, streaks, and connected health data you authorize in order to generate personalized responses, suggestions, or insights.

E. Purchases and Subscription Data

If you purchase a premium subscription or start a free trial, purchase-related information is processed through Apple, Google, and related subscription infrastructure such as RevenueCat. This may include:

Subscription status

Product identifiers

Transaction identifiers

Renewal or expiration timing

Trial and entitlement status

We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.

F. Advertising Data

If ads are shown in the App, we may use Google AdMob for banner advertising. Ad-related data may include device identifiers, IP address, app and device information, and ad interaction data as permitted by the ad platform and applicable law.

G. Device Permissions and Media Access

Depending on the features you use, the App may request access to:

Camera

Microphone

Photos or media library

We only access these permissions if you choose to use a feature that requires them.

H. Notifications and Reminders

If enabled by you, the App may provide reminders or motivational notifications related to sleep or wellness. At this time, we do not use push notifications for marketing.

I. Data We Do Not Currently Collect for Analytics/Crash Reporting

At this time, based on your current setup:

Firebase Analytics is not currently enabled

Crash logging/diagnostics are not currently enabled

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

Create and manage user accounts

Authenticate users

Save and display sleep tracking data and related wellness information

Provide connected health integrations through HealthKit and Health Connect when authorized by you

Generate personalized AI outputs and insights

Store and respond to support requests

Provide reminders and wellness-related notifications you enable

Manage subscriptions, entitlements, trials, and premium access

Display banner ads

Maintain, secure, and improve App functionality

3. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and platforms that help us operate the App, including:

Google Firebase, for authentication and database storage

Apple HealthKit and Android Health Connect, when you choose to connect those services

RevenueCat, Apple, and Google, for subscription and purchase processing

Google AdMob, for banner advertising

AI service providers that help power AI features in the App

Legal authorities or other parties where required by law, to protect safety, or to prevent fraud or abuse

We do not share your sleep data or private account data with other users in the App.

We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary sense. However, some privacy laws may classify certain ad-tech data sharing as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising.

4. Health and Wellness Data

Health and wellness data is private by default. We only access HealthKit or Health Connect data that you choose to authorize. Apple requires fine-grained HealthKit permissions, and Android Health Connect access is also permission-based.

We use health-related data to support App features such as sleep logging, insights, streaks, summaries, and AI-powered personalization.

We do not make your health or sleep data visible to other users in the App.

5. Advertising

The App may display banner advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or receive data such as device identifiers, IP address, app and device information, and ad interaction data to provide, measure, and improve advertising services, subject to your device settings, platform permissions, region, and applicable law.

6. Purchases, Trials, and Premium Features

The App may offer premium subscriptions, including free trials where available. Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and trial eligibility are handled through the applicable app store and related subscription providers. Apple documents introductory offers, including free trials, for auto-renewable subscriptions.

7. Support Requests

If you contact support through the App, we store the information you submit, such as your name, email, selected topic, message, and related timestamps, in order to review and respond to your request.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to:

Provide the App and maintain your account

Support your subscriptions and purchases

Respond to support requests

Comply with legal obligations

Resolve disputes

Enforce our terms and policies

If you delete your account, we will delete your account data and associated App data, subject to any limited retention required by law, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or subscription/accounting records maintained by third-party payment or platform providers.

9. Account Deletion and Data Requests

You can request deletion of your account and data by:

Using the App’s delete account feature, if available, or

Contacting us at the email address below

We may verify your identity before processing certain requests.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Firebase also provides platform security tools, including Security Rules, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

11. Children’s Privacy

we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. International and Platform Disclosures

App platforms may require additional disclosures, including app privacy labels and permission-related disclosures. Apple requires developers to disclose app privacy practices and provide a privacy policy, and AdMob may also require a privacy policy URL in some messaging/compliance flows.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date and post the updated version in the App or through another appropriate method.
